"i was born on may fourteenth as miranda taylor cosgrove.
honestly, i wish i was able to say more about it like
there were fireworks that day or my parents were hot shot
actors, something more exciting, but that's not true. at
this point, i was no different than any other child. i
did like to babble a lot though, from what my mom says.
it wasn't until i was three years old when things changed
for me. i was at a restaraunt with my mom and dad when
an agent came up to us and asked them about a modeling
job for me. now that i think back on it, that's pretty
cool, don't you think? i did a lot of commercials and it
wasn't until the school of rock that i got my big break.
i was to play summer hathaway. that was a lot of fun,
actually! i loved having fun with everyone on set and
that was probably when i realized that acting was for me.
two of the biggest roles i have been known for were as
megan parker and carly shay. i loved meeting new people
on the shows and it was amazing. doing the icarly theme
song was also a big break for me. i was able to start my
career as a singer too. to have this opprutunity is
incredible and i thank my fans every day.
"i really love to hang out with my friends and family-
they mean everything to me. it weren't for their support,
i would have never gotten that far. i also love to sing
and act. i don't think it's that surprising since i do
that as a career, but i still a hundred and fifty percent
effort into it. honestly, i'm not a huge fan of
pessimisstic people. they tend to ruin good moods and
it's just not very fun, you know what i mean? i also try
to avoid the spotlight. this means no bad gossip, bad
peers, bad parties, etc, etc... i try to keep positive
influence for younger kids as much as possible. either
that or you end up covering for bad press. it also ties
into the whole pessimistic thing. and lastly, no one
would probably get this from me, but i'm horrible when it
comes to crushes. i'm oblivious about these things and
even when i do know, it never helps. i turn red,
occassionally stammer, and everything like that. it's
horrible, i know..."
